Born in Minneapolis, MN. The New Jack Kid moved to South Florida in 2001. A member of the NJS4Ever network, The name creation of The New Jack Kid name was born officially in 2004. While music is a first love, Radio and all media became a major interest in NJK’s junior year of high school. With many influences, he cites Donnie Simpson as a major radio influence. As a student of Florida International University, The New Jack Kid started his journey in Radio in the fall of 2013 with WRGP: FIU Student Radio. Three months after his broadcast, NJK began hosting “Radio Soul”, which is inspired BET’s Video Soul. The show was dubbed as “Miami’s Hottest New Jack Radio Show” due to it’s strong New Jack Swing playlist. NJK signed on MOCRadio.com In March 2015. You can catch him every Monday-Wednesday with “The MidNoon Heat” from 3-5pm. You’ll get fresh R&B, Classic Hip Hop and all the hottest heat when tuned in. Aside from music and radio, NJK loves engaging in fitness activities and he is also a big fan of the Green Bay Packers.
